NATIONAL FINAL RESULTS

STAR CITY was host to a night of glamour and excitement, as 40 models vied for over $50,000 in cash and prizes.

The 5 main awards were as follows:

• Winner                        - Joanna King representing the Rolling Rock in Noosa, Queensland

• 1st Runner Up            - Becky Lamb representing the Grand Hotel, Wyong, NSW

• 2nd Runner Up           - Jacinter Rokich representng Cocktails & Dreams, Surfers Paradise

• Miss Fuji Photogenic - Chloe Patterson representing Fitzy's at Loganholme, Qld

• Miss Personality         - Susie Warwick representing The Ranch at Marsfield, NSW

This is Australia's TOP Swimwear Model contest.

The RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year is the search for Australia’s best swimwear models where contestants over the age of 18 compete in their own choice of Swimwear and After 5 Fashion. The top 15 girls selected during the National Final are shot exclusively for the 2010 RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year Calendar with the winner featuring on the cover. The 2009 RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year Calendar is available now - see Calendar link on the left of this page.

Promoted in cities and major towns throughout the months of November, December, January and February in over 200 nights of promotions in 40 venues covering all major cities and regional centres throughout all States and Territories in Australia. Each venue runs up to 5 nights of contest.

The winners from each venue contest travel to the National Finals.

STAR CITY - HOST FOR THE 2009 RALPH ASMY NATIONAL FINAL    

For the first time in the event’s history, Sydney, specifically Star City was home to the RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year National Final.  This is also the first National or International pageant to stage its finals in Sydney.

Renown for bringing the biggest names, the best shows and the most spectacular events to the region, Star City’s line up of entertainment is second to none.

The 2009 RALPH ASMY National Final promised to be no exception and delivered on its Promise.

The National Final was held on Friday 1st May 2009 in the exquisite Star City Ballroom before a capacity audience of 600. 40 of Australia and New Zealand’s hottest swimwear models took to the stage to compete for a share in over $50 000 in cash and prizes plus the coveted title of RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year.

Star City was excited about the new association with the RALPH ASMY National Final, adding a distinct element of colour and glamour to further diversify the already extensive events calendar.
